# Service availability

> What happens to your installation if Vetra is ever discontinued. The commitment, stated plainly.

## The commitment

If Vetra Blueprints is ever withdrawn, we will publish a **final version with licensing
removed**, so your installation keeps working with no connection at all and no time limit.

The service stays available for **at least 3 months after the product is withdrawn, or 1
month after that final version ships, whichever is later**. That window is also your
opportunity to download any packages you have stored with us.

## What would end, and what would not

| | |
| ---------------------------------------------- | -------------------------------------------- |
| Remote Deploy | Would end |
| Sending packages through Vetra | Would end |
| Licence checks | Removed entirely in the final version |
| Building, capturing, comparing | Unaffected |
| Groups, migration, restore, rollback | Unaffected |
| Exporting a package and importing it elsewhere | Unaffected |
| Local DEV to PROD deployment | Unaffected |
| Your data | Unaffected. It is already on your own server |

Exporting a Version, moving the file yourself and importing it on another server does not go
through us and would keep working. So would everything else you build locally.

## Why the local route matters

This is the reason [export and import](/blueprints/packages) exists as a first-class route
rather than as a fallback, and why Remote Deploy is described everywhere as optional.

Every capability that defines the product works without our service. What we host is a
convenience on top of it.

## Your local data

Already on your own server, in `garrysmod/data/vetra/blueprints/`, in files you control. See
[Where your work is stored](/support/data).

Exported packages are plain files you can keep, move or archive independently of Blueprints
and independently of us.
