The object types it has an adapter for. In version 1.0 those are props, NPCs, DarkRP job spawns, and the props MalboroDEV PermaProps has saved.Object types with no adapter are outside its authority: it does not capture, modify or restore them. It does not modify other addons’ code or configuration. An enabled adapter does write the addon-owned data it manages, and only that: the DarkRP adapter updates DarkRP job-spawn records, and the PermaProps adapter updates PermaProps records.Full matrix: Supported objects.
No. It versions the object types it manages. It does not back up your gamemode configuration, your database, your Workshop collection, your server files or anything else.Keep your backups.
Yes, with MalboroDEV PermaProps: the classic Workshop tool, item 220336312.Several unrelated addons are called PermaProps, so the claim is deliberately specific. Blueprints checks that addon’s API and database schema before it writes anything; if what is installed does not match, the adapter reports itself unavailable and touches nothing. It manages props. PermaProps can also save vehicles, NPCs, lamps and more; those are left unmanaged and counted rather than half-managed. Full detail: PermaProps.
The job-spawn adapter does. MySQL-backed DarkRP job-spawn storage is not supported in version 1.0, and on those servers that adapter reports itself unavailable rather than capturing an incomplete world. The limit is scoped to that one adapter. Props, NPCs and every other part of Blueprints work normally on a MySQL DarkRP server. DarkRP itself is not required for anything else.
Not for normal use. It keeps working for up to 14 days with no connection at all.Only Remote Deploy and sending packages through Vetra need the service while you use them. Everything else, including moving a build between your own servers by exported file, is local. See Working offline.
On your own server, in garrysmod/data/vetra/blueprints/. Updating or uninstalling Blueprints does not touch it.Nothing is sent anywhere unless you choose Remote Deploy. See Where your work is stored.
No. It is one of two routes. You can export a Version as a portable package file, move it however you like, and import it on the other server. That route never contacts our service.
Three at a time. Blueprints deploys from one server to another, so a single-server licence would defeat the feature the product is named for.Ran out? Open a ticket and tell us which server you no longer use. No charge, no waiting period. See Licensing and servers.
Replace the two addon folders and restart. Your Versions, groups and packages live in garrysmod/data/ and are not touched, including your activation: the server does not reactivate and does not consume another slot.Delete the old folders rather than copying over them. If an old vetra-framework is left beside the new one, the framework does not start and the server console names both, so the mistake cannot go unnoticed. See Updating.
No. This is a server-side install. Garry’s Mod delivers the interface and its assets to connecting clients automatically, and the interface itself is admin-only.
Yes. Before the first destructive change, Blueprints captures the current world as a recovery Version and reads it back. Undoing a completed restore is another restore pointed at that recovery Version, planned by the same planner.A restore that fails part way rolls back on its own and verifies the rollback.
Because the object identities inside it belong to that server, and the same id means something different here. Map creation ids and database row ids are numbered from the same 1 on both machines, so restoring one would address real local objects that have nothing to do with the ones recorded. An imported Version can be inspected, compared, used as a migration source, and applied with Deploy, which builds an explicit source-to-target mapping instead of assuming ids line up.
Not out of the box, unless someone has written an adapter for it.The Adapter SDK is public and documented, and an adapter lives in the addon’s own code rather than in Blueprints. If you maintain an addon with objects worth versioning, that is the route.
Capturing walks the managed domains, which costs what walking them costs, and it only happens when you ask. Nothing polls, nothing runs on a timer, and opening the product does not walk the world. The interface is admin-only and is not drawn for players at all.
We publish a final version with licensing removed, so your installation keeps working with no connection and no time limit. The service stays available for at least 3 months after the product is withdrawn, or 1 month after that final version ships, whichever is later.Remote Deploy would end. Exporting a package, transferring it yourself and importing it elsewhere would not. See Service availability.
Open a ticket on the product page. We aim to reply within 72 hours.Include what you did, what happened, the output of vetra_license_status, and your console log. Never post licence identifiers or server credentials; we do not need them. See Getting support.
